What this feature/enhancement tries to solve?

In order to simplify development testing on local environments, we developed docker files that could fit this purpose in our internal repositories:

https://github.com/babelfish-for-postgresql/babelfish_extensions_internal/blob/docker_build_v2/Dockerfile.ubuntu
https://github.com/babelfish-for-postgresql/postgresql_modified_for_babelfish_internal/blob/docker_build_v2/Dockerfile.ubuntu

They could be also be used to test improvements or changes in the installation process.

If want to provide us a more details about how to implement.

This would require Docker installed locally.

Version
