It seems the broker is running as root, so it seems not to work with the usual runasnonroot:true setting with this error in Kubernetes.
Error: container has runAsNonRoot and image will run as root
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to run broker as non root.
Describe alternatives you've considered

I have the same question, looking at the DockerFile it does not specify a USER hence why its attempting to run as root. As to whether or not it needs it I do not know and need to do some testing.
As the service broker is mostly making HTTP(s) calls I imagine that we should be able to drop its privileges, I am not too familiar with the internals of the project so maybe I am trivializing the effort.
