Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing open and closed issues

Software version

v0.1.0-beta4

What operating system are you using?

MacOS Ventura 13. (latest)

What GPU are you using?

Apple Silicon

What problem did you encounter?

Encoding in h.265 (hardware) works fine but the encoded file didn't open in Quicktime. VLC on the other hand did eat it!
Encoding in h.264 (hardware) n the other hand worked well.

Looks similar to #2. For software and h264 hardware encoding this was fixed by explicitly setting the color space to yuv420p. My Mac doesn't have a hardware h265 encoder so I'll need some help to debug this (when I have time for in a few weeks).

Thanks for the bug report.
