Interesting, I don't have that Yaru-Dark in Tweaks.

So I learned that Audacious is based on GTK3 and Fedora 41 uses GTK 4:

I have 3 options:

  • Adwaita
  • HighContrast
  • HighContrastInverse

The last pretty much seems like dark mode. Changing these immediate updates Audacious. Keeping it on HighContrastInverse shows me this:

You may need to set the environment variable GTK_THEME to a dark theme, for example with export GTK_THEME=Adwaita:dark.

After googling on GTK_THEME I found that GTK3 settings are stored in ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini and I updated it to:

[Settings]
gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=1

That enabled Dark mode for me!
