Allows suppression or option for Message/WArning/Error message for check_variables

I don't always have everythign 100% in my dataset programming - is it possible to have this function with a toggle argument to allow either for a message to print to my log , a warning message or error out my program.

I would set the error at the end or it set as default just remove the message/warning option at the end of my program. Thanks!!
