Moved files not marked as "new" (git status color)

Files that have been moved to another location are correctly marked as new in the tree view, but in tabs they are grey and not marked as new files. Only after closing and re-opening the Atom window do they get marked as well:

The files were moved externally (e.g. not via Atom), but tree view picked up on them correctly.

This is with Atom 1.13.0-dev-d8c91d4 on OS X.
