I often want to delete a block from within some page's references - particularly, I often open the TODO page and go to the references to see open TODOs. Then, if one of them is not relevant, I want to delete the block with the TODO.
I want to do that without navigating to a different page, because that would make me lose my place in several pages of TODOs. So I usually Shift-Click the block, then navigate a bit in the sidebar to delete it.
I would expect that selecting all the content of the referencing block (the TODO) and deleting it, and then pressing Backspace in the empty block, should also delete the block, but I think it either has not worked for me consistently, or I as a user am not confident that it works as expected (which might be just a UX issue). The block does disappear from the reference list, but that from my point of view as the user might very well just mean it's now empty but still exists, which I don't want.
