Suggestion to add new actions to automatic reading

Hello,

I'm an SLT and I'd like to suggest the following actions to AstericsGRID:

• an action to stop and resume automatic scanning and sequential input (example: the automatic scanning starts, user can use a key to select the cell and when that happens, the scanning stops until the user presses the key again) - as of, right now, when the user selects a cell, it continues the automatic scanning/sequencial input.
• the option to select more than one cell at the time using the CTRL key.
• the option to customize cells independently ( border colors and thickness, background colors).

Would, at least, the first one be possible soon? It'd be important for blind and low vision users who use astericsGRID and can control the automatic auditive feedback they're receiving when they're scanning.

By going to advanced settings -> Start manually by user input event and setting Scanning rounds until going back to 1 additionally to selecting Automatic (timed) scanning , the scanning stops after finishing the current round until the event set as next scanning group is done. Is that what you mean respectively something that can be useful?

Yes, performing actions on multiple cells is an really useful feature. It has been requested in #1 and #299 although the idea to also be able to use a shortcut to do it is new.

I've requested this in #473 , except for the border thickness. We have exchanged some ideas of how that could look like, check if that's something that also could work for you or if you have other suggestions.

I second the request to be able to CTRL select multiple cells at a time and then edit their colors or duplicate. It will speed up the editing process for sure.

I also vote for the ability to edit the border style at the element level. Being able to add a think border to cells that navigate to other boards will make it easier for the user to delineate the difference between a cell and a "folder". Currently the little gray icon in the corner may not be as obvious.
