About

This workshop is about students to get familiar about the ways in which data can be transferred using MQTT to a cloud service such as AWS. This will include a basic hands on of the process, including but not limited to a basic project such as turning on an LED bulb or performing CRUD operations on device.

Pre-requisites

AWS account is required for the above.
As it is a Hands on workshop, students are required to bring a board with them such as a Raspberry Pi Pico W, Arduino series or ESP32. Thonny IDE is recommended as it uses Micropython, if students wish to use Arduino, Arduino IDE can also be used for the same purpose.

If students are not able to bring a board, they can run MQTT protocol using a laptop.
