What is expected for this feature? Command line package retrieval one liners? Or GUI-based, maybe web browser plugin, or referring to hosted services?

I believe we have a reasonable approach for installation in the Install and Update section of the documentation at https://docs.asciidoctor.org/asciidoctor/latest/install/. We'll never be able to offer a single quick start since the installation procedure varies between operating systems, each which offers its own primary package manager. The best we can do is guide the user towards the instruction that best suits them. (Though I still want to write up the guide for managing gems as proposed in #884).

I do think improvements are still needed, but I'd like to address them in context. If there's a better way to document how to install the RPM, for example, let's focus on improving those docs specifically.
