Not working after install

I installed all files and mods needed to run Mantella for FO4. It seems to load fine in the cmd window that pops up after starting Mantella.exe.

The only issue I get is:

But, I never received the gun/halotape and pressing H does nothing.

Also, I have both Mantella and the Mantella Desktop installed through MO2. Should they both be enabled or just the desktop version? This wasn't clear on the install instructions.

Also, the version in the install instructions doesn't match what I have. I have a newer version, does this matter? This is through Steam as well.

Instructions say Mantella is supposed to run with version 1.10.163.0
I have version 1.10.984.0. Will it not run with the newer version? And if not, will Mantella be updated?

got the same problem, I have just tried it for skyrim,
and even after a reinstall, exclude, and more bug testing, no help,
