Please, take a look to F Lock and TXLock menu. When you are not a HAM and want to use PMR band: 1 - From the F Lock menu, select DISABLE ALL, which is safer. I've explained all this in my videos and in the documentation. Armel F4HWN. |

Before i spend some hours and do the research to provide a table for a country with all the data to get implemented into the firmware as a single option, i would like to know if its possible to combine F Lock with power reduction.
Here the F Lock is described:

F stands for frequency. But when you are not a HAM, it would be nice to make a option to turn the device into a more-legal-mode based on what is legal in your country. By having such a mode, you cant accidentally do some error yourself or when you give the device to a person without technical understandings, this person would not be able to do much wrong based on frequency and TX-power with the device.
For example at PMR446 frequency you are not allowed to send with more then 0.5W . Yes, i know it should be E(I)RP and not PEP, the antenna have to be non-removable and so on. But making the basics legal, this should be way better then giving the ability to send on wrong frequencies with 5W you are not allowed to use.
The table i would create here would be country-related and showing frequency (start and end) and the allowed max TX-power in this frequency range.
