With USE_SCRIPT matter don't work correctly

Why do you think that there is a dependency on rules, and not working with the scripter?

With Matter, I'd recommend using it with Berry, not rules, but in all 3 scenarios you should be able to use the standard MtrXxxx commands and JSON payloads. If you have specific trouble, post specific details instead of vague things like "don't work correctly".

It has also been my experience that I cannot get MATTER to work with SCRIPT.
MATTER also shows the same error behavior as above for me.

And it is not clear to me how to set up SML without SCRIPT.
Therefore, I compile two different variants:

SCRIPT, SML, Berry, KNX, Timer, Domoticz, GPIOViewer, various I²C drivers have no RULE in the name tasmota(x).bin
RULE, MATTER, Berry, KNX, Timer, Domoticz, GPIOViewer, various I²C drivers have RULE in the name *-RULE-tasmota(x).bin

The way I see it is that I integrate an SML reader with SCRIPT.
And another with MATTER-RULE.
In MATTER, I can also integrate sensors from older MATTER-incompatible devices ESP8285/8266 and forward them to MATTER.

O MATTER também me mostra o comportamento errado acima.

E não é claro para mim como configurar o SML sem SCRIPT.
Assim, compilo duas variantes diferentes:

A meu ver, integro um leitor SML no SCRIPT.
E outro com MATTER-RULE.
No MATTER, também posso integrar sensores de dispositivos ESP8285/8266 incompatíveis com o MATTER mais antigos e encaminhá-los para o MATTER.

I use a custom xdrv but I still need script.

Script it's more user friendly for users.

My xdrv don't use TasmotaSerial or TasmotaModbus.

And it only work in my meter.

As Tasmota Matter still don't have Matter 1.3 like energy. It was just for testing.

Did you make a video by night with Smartphone to look if there is one IR LED Diode is flickering.
Some Meters want to be asked by IR receiver before it send some Data.
Some Meter react after been lighted by torch-/handy-lamp.

Do I understand you right, that your build a fully functional version (which ESP ?) including SCRIPT & MATTER without defining "#define USE_MATTER_DEVICE" and there is also no Point to compile in VSC "Project Tasks" ?

As I know RULES is default, and you don´t use "#undef USE_RULES" to deactivate it ?

Pls discribe your full configuration and your compiling environment.

You need reset defaults tasmota.

If I use default tasmota firmware and then upgrade to a firmware with USE_SCRIPT. Menu show ok, but matter dont work.

Thanks, I could reproduce. It occurs that this bug has nothing to do with enabling SCRIPT but you found a path to trigger the bug.

It is fixed now in #22008
