I'm currently trying to reverse engineer the Energy Smart Electric Water Heater Controller. I was wondering if you had any code, schematics or additional information about protocols it's speaking. Thank You.

The Energy Smart Electric Water Heater Controller uses the IPCD protocol to communicate with Arcus. Unfortunately the hostname for the server to connect to is hard coded and cannot be modified. If you are able to change the hard coded URL (and potentially present a valid certificate that the water heater controller trusts) then you should be able to have it connect to the Arcus IPCD Server. You can find more on the protocol in the https://github.com/arcus-smart-home/arcusipcd repo.
