What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Compiling with xetex

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output are headers and background with color filled. Instead, no 
color shows up in the headers nor in the background

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Sep 2011. Mac OS X Mavericks, TexLive 20014

Please provide any additional information below.
The requirements are to compile it in pdflatex. Is there a way of compiling it 
with XeTeX?

I've been having this problem for a while too (see my comment here: 
https://code.google.com/p/baposter/issues/detail?id=37 ).

My summary of the bug is that the headerColorOne and headerColorTwo don't seem 
to have any effect on the colour of the background of the header when using 
xetex, and it's always white no matter what.
