Support Microsoft Edge better

I know previously we were worried about the MSI but it appears to be possible via msiexe.

Looks like the Edge driver doesn't close the browser automatically in the way that Chrome, Firefox and IE etc. do. Noticed this when running 'single run' multi-browser Karma tests.

Hmmm.... will this matter when Edge becomes Chromium Edge? I wonder if ChromeDriver will be the solution.

There are both drivers for Edge, one for old EdgeHTML engine and the new one based on Chromium. But Chromium based Edge is still in preview stage. I believe ChromeDriver won't fit next Edge, even they are based on the same engine.

Hey all, I know "modern" Edge is likely to be easier (I saw an SO user suggesting that you can actually use the matching Chromium driver and fake out the binary path to point to the Edgeium executable) but I'm being tasked with supporting testing against legacy Edge, because our org is super slow to roll out updates. Is there still no way to have webdriver-manager handle installing the EdgeHTML driver for me?
