On our media centre we have two screen attached and Kodi is on the right. When I start NetfliXBMC to play a movie it starts playing on the left screen.

It would be nice if the plugin listened to the kodi screen setup where we are forcing it to the right hand screen.

I've got a work around for now and that is to not use kiosk mode and drag the window over to the main screen. It seems to remember it's position for a while. This is a bad workaround but it does the job for now.

I'm having the same issue. Kodi is set to always display on the second monitor, and Netflixbmc itself displays correctly, but playback launches on the primary screen. Really hoping to avoid this workaround, though....

Using Kodi 14.2, Manjaro Linux, Chrome Stable

This is certainly not a trivial issue to fix, as it will require completely different methods for each platform, and require more settings for users to decide which monitor they want it on. I'm not sure if it's even possible with kiosk mode chrome, it generally seems to start where it wants, in particular it's on a new space in mac which will not play well with multiple monitors.

I only use kodi on my TV and have a very long backlog of work to do myself so wont be looking into this, but I have no problem integrating a fix if anyone else creates one.

Thanks for updating us on this Andrew. Even when a fix isn't being implemented, it's nice to know. It would be helpful if you could add a note about this as a known issue, on the original plugin page. This would help prevent users from wasting time, and possibly inspire someone to find a solution.

Thanks!

As a possible short term workaround you try using the tool 'xdotool' within a script to start netflix and position the window on the second screen.
