Instead of using a lambda function for the data source and resolvers, would it be possible to also get some examples using the new Data API?

Thanks

Thank you for the feedback! The Data API feature of Aurora Serverless is in Beta and only available in limited regions, so we're still using lambda for this example. Have you had a chance to look at https://docs.aws.amazon.com/appsync/latest/devguide/tutorial-rds-resolvers.html?

As we see more availability for Aurora Serverless, we'll definitely be releasing more content and samples for how to best use it.

Thanks for the resource! Is there any eta for when Data API might be supported via cloudformation?

No ETA at this time, but we'll be sure to look at supporting it when it becomes available.
