  • server has internal data to represent
  • server has one or more ALPS profiles to support
  • server uses ALPS doc to generate represntation <!>

servers need general guidance on how to take internal data (graph, DB rows, etc.) and, using ALPS, generate media type representations (HTML, Cj, Atom, etc.) to send out. This is the opposite of client apps -- they need to accept media type presentations and parse them into ALPS-aware internally.
