Currently using an outdated version of AngularJS. Move either to the new version of angular or move away from angular completely and use a different JS framework.

After reading Tim Kadlec's post I think it might be best to try and remove angular and rely on jQuery or vanilla js alone.

I don't think client performance and page load speed is a big concern with this project. Personally I think it would be simpler to just use js+jquery, but I don't think it's worth spending the effort to rewrite the UI to not use a framework :)
