Possibly use 'tunnel' for ideas?

I found a project called tunnel which is very similar to hyprspace, however, it seems to of figured out how to solve a few issues such as this one. It's ability to auto-reconnect and to be run unprivileged are of particular note (Correction, see the edit).

Perhaps it's solutions could be used as inspiration to solve some of hyprspace's issues? What do you think?

EDIT: tunnel seems more similar to hyprspace relay than hyprspace, being able to run hyprspace as an unprivileged application might not be possible just from looking at tunnel alone (if at all given how interface creation usually works).
