Adding a Album adds other Artists than only the Artist of the published album

When adding a album to the library, I want it added for the artist I have searched for but if one track on the album is co-performed with another artist then I get that artist too in my library which makes my library listing of Artists annoyingly long (try adding Beyoncé albums and you see what I mean) - I would like an option to only add/create the artists that have published the album.

I presume that the XBMC Spotify extension adds track for track with the info received from Spotify for that track. To get around that would be to change some info (Artist) of a track before adding it to the database.
