I have a DKMS setup with version 5.6.4.2~20221105 which worked under Ubuntu 22.04 (kernel 5.15.0-*) and continues working as well with Debian 12 Bookworm (kernel 6.1.0-*). I added this source using "dkms add" about 2 years ago.
Once I pulled the main branch of this repo and ended up with version 5.6.4.2~20240509.
I also added it using "dkms add" and found that modules built with this version cause my kernel to crash and reboot (Debian 12, kernel 6.1.0-*).
I had to revert back to 5.6.4.2~20221105 to stabilize the situation.
Probably will have to remove *0509 from DKMS folders at all.
My hardware is TP-Link Archer T2U Plus (USB2, ven:dev=2357:0120).
My software is hostapd, currently at version 2:2.10-12+deb12u2 , providing 2.4GHz access point from this USB adapter.
Can I know if any stabilization measures are planned for the main branch ?
