affectiva control a robot by using facial expressions
Rana El Kaliouby ,ceo of affective, presents a sphero ball controlled by facial expression using the affective algorithms.
The acvitivy starts by asking the children to make some expressions, then she asked to the children "what make robots to me smart?" which might be rephrased as "what make robots to be social intelligent? " Then, Rana explained the interaction by saying that when children smile the robot runs over him/her but it the robot looks angry the robot is going to run away!

It's not about copying the idea which I had maybe by the time affectiva were developing the demo but about collaborating and making a better world for future generations.
