I usually have a lot of files open to compare notes from different lessons.
I remember in version 1.7.7, Obsidian Opener would switch to the tab, if it was already open instead of replacing the current tab (Obsidian default setting).
In version 1.8.4 it doesn't switch files anymore.
Steps to repo
Open two files
The file, which you are not currently viewing, press that in the Files list
It appears as if it is reloading the wrong file.
You can fix it by turning of "New Tab Default" in the Obsidian Opener settings. However, now it will replace the currently open file with the one, you pressed (Obsidian default setting).

Hi Nico,
thank you for reporting this.
It’s been a long long time since I contributed to this plugin.
I did switch to logseq about a year ago too.
However lately I’ve been using Obsidian for work.
I see if can find something.
Best,
lukemt
