Issues with the current POS and BEAM in ERPNext:

• Scanning an Item enters it into the search bar, not into the cart
• Scanning multiple times does not add or increment the item in the cart
• Not sensitive to any other supported barcodes - Handling Unit in particular, but I've seen features in the wild that allow the cashier to print a receipt for a suspended transaction and resume the entire order/invoice/transaction by scanning the barcode on receipt
• POS does not support any workflows than Customer / Sales Invoice. A Self Checkout for User / Employee / Stock Entry would also be desirable for some customer. This should be a separate issue.
