Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am unable to find way that we can configure modelManager to fetch data from all together separate custom API than AEM it self, basically i want to have custom API to impose user specific business logic before its consumed by UI.

Describe the solution you'd like
ModelManager.initialize() add some config object that all models will get fetched from custom API gateway than AEM.
