Feature request: match *existing* shapes to OSM ways

I for one would benefit from an option to match existing shapes to OSM ways, with a mode of travel choice, e.g. match only bus shapes to OSM ways.
Oftentimes a feed has shapes that are almost accurate and just need a little nudging.
I guess that using the same Pfaedle algorithm on the shape points rather than the stop points would work for this.

Yes, this request has come up a few times and is easy to implement, we are working on this. There will be a new release at the end of 2021 which hopefully offers this option.
