[Bug]: Service Worker not Updating #4094

Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

What happened?

The service worker failed to update when the update message appeared. I needed to manually unregister the service worker.

How can we reproduce the issue?

Install an old version. Click the button to update. Button will spin forever without updating.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Pikapods

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Chrome

Operating System

Mac OSX

are you using a desktop app? How are you installing an old version if you are hosting on pikapods?

Just to clarify the service worker was outdated.
