Infinite line break in the terminal when spacefn runs

Ubuntu 22.04
What I done:

• Cloned the repo in a directory
• Installed the required libevdev via sudo apt -y install libevdev-dev
• Found a keyboard name with sudo evtest command (it's from util of the same name). It shows "At Translated Set 2 Keyboard" at the dev/input/event4. I hope I can use this instead of the real name. There is no mentioned keyboard name in ../by-id in my case :/
• Tried to run spacefn according to the instruction: sudo ./spacefn /dev/input/event4

Expected behavior: I enjoy the result.

Actual behavior: logs state 0, blocks touchpad control, spams \n in terminal.
