Thunderbird integration

I echo the outlook sync request however it could lead to trouble if as you add more to the calendar, double clicking a day will open multiple Web pages instead of one desired one, this may be obviated I think by syncing to a pim instead, ideally a third party one thunderbird (for various reasons). Also just a thought, is it possible to have other todo list makers integrate into this (in thinking zanshin, or qmarkdown or nextcloud app). And final how do you get non western calendars up, like the Chinese or Persian calendar? Otherwise I love the progress made, many thanks, I would help if I had any coding knowledge at all

I know this is literally years old, but I'm also interested in this feature. I would be happy to implement it with another person if others want this.
