What factors influence the choice of metric values for different interfaces in this MPTCP init.d file configuration file, and how do these values affect the "Failover Mechanism" (switching between master and backup)?

By order I see them in config.
This doesn't affect failover mechanism as, for gateway, all connections have same value, only master connection have a higher weight.
