API calls suddenly not working - 503 Service Unavailable

I've been using this API to update my WooCommmerce site for years. Suddenly yesterday (28 AUG 2024 12:11 GMT) the API calls stopped working as the website started returning 503 Service Unavailable to each call.
I can access the API via links in my browser but not via my code.
The site is otherwise working fine and I don't think anything changed at that time yesterday (maybe a plugin auto updated).
I have a copy of the site for development purposes and that has the same problem,
I have tried disabling all plugins and switching to a default theme but there is no change.
My site is hosted on IONOS shared hosting.

I wonder if it might be a problem with Application Passwords? But I don't see why they would suddenly stop working.

OK, that was strange. It miraculously started working again at 12:35PM the next day. I think it must have been an issue within Ionos hosting.
