In VO and FoxPro, it's possible to open a dbf file with no extension (filename "noext." in this case). In X#, a runtime error is thrown: Could not find file 'c:\dbf\noext.DBF'.

? DBUSEAREA(,,"c:\dbf\noext.")
USE c:\dbf\noext.
