"This project finally came to fruition in 2019 as part of the Diverse Speaker Training group led by Jill Binder."

Proposed edits:

Remove "finally"
-> Andrea Middleton suggested it to me in November 2017 at WordCamp Seattle (November 4-5, 2017) and I began it right away.

Change "2019" to "late 2017" (or "2018").
