Please fill out the following:

  • Swayfx Version:

    • swayfx version 0.4-b9dcf5f (Nov 9 2024, branch 'master') (based on sway 1.9.0)
  • Debug Log:
    https://pastebin.com/hyKN9xiM

  • Configuration File:
    https://pastebin.com/Nn6gFQnW

  • Description:

    • Any GTK window, when opened in a stacked format with other windows (GTK or not), causes the dim/blur to bleed out to the titlebar of the window.
    • This only dims/blurs the bar of the bottommost window if multiple windows are stacked.
    • This only happens when the last open window in the stack was a GTK window, applications like kitty (which uses glfw) do not cause this.
    • Firefox/librewolf and other firefox forks also cause this, but only halfway through the titlebar.
    • The image below shows when two RNote windows are stacked and the whole thing is tiled with another window.
