To achieve a speedup on the code at a small cost of accuracy we can adopt the perturbative approach from the Einstein absorption method. This means not including the absorption in the diagonalisation but instead adding it on after diagonalisation as an attenuation to the wave functions. This will speed up diagonisation as the Ug matrix will be hermitian
