Optional Privacy in Public Info

All fields in the member dashboard’s “public info” section except “username” can be empty. Usernames are not for logins but are instead used for organizational purposes and every user must have one. However, they can change it whenever they want as long as someone else does not have the same username.

If these fields are empty, the info will not be displayed anywhere on Vikelabs.ca. The member crediting on projects use the information the user provides in their public section, but the user must manually opt-in to each project and have their information shown there. Empty profile pictures will display a pfp SVG.

If all optional fields in the "public info" section are empty, the project credit will default to showing the user's username only.
