What does Nixpkgs packaging mean? It means the packaged program can be reliably, reproducibly run on any Linux distribution, thanks to the http://nixos.org/nix/ package manager. IMO, Valve should really consider acquiring experience with this technology, since it has significant potential to change how software is developed and deployed -- it's a bigger idea than Docker. And it's been in production use for years. |

even if this is not a real issue in terms of a bug. It would be great to get a release on github. If there is not tag (even if it is alpha1) - vogl will not get included in any linux distribution. There is at least an arch packager waiting for a tag to get it into arch ;)
