Unable to run installer on MAC

I'm using Excel Version 15.33 (170409) on a MAC and when I click the browse control on the installer I get the following error pop up in a box and get no further.

"Microsoft Visual Basic
License information for this component not found. You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality in the design environment."

What am I missing?

I'm having the same issue on Mac.

I updated to the latest version of Microsoft Office (screenshot below) and I'm not 100% sure if this is what solved it, but it is working now. I also installed Visual Studio for Mac (which is now free) so I'm not sure if that also played a role. I did test after the Visual Studio install and it didn't work. But after updating MS Office and running the Installer.xlsm in a new Excel session, it did work for me.

I did just get an: "ERROR 5: Invalid procedure call or argument" after selecting my file and hitting the install button, however.

I get the exact same result as @dclarktandem. Using macOS 10.12, MS Excel for Mac 15.31 (170216)

I got the same issue as @dclarktandem. My mac office version is 15.21.1 (2016)

From what I can see it's the MacScript Command that checks the file exists is no longer supported in Excel for Mac 2016

The installer is indeed broken for Mac at the moment, hoping to have a new install solution working soon, I'm pretty excited about it.

Hi Team, VBA-Web is a great tool to work with Excel VBA. I love it. It seems that there is a trojan in the installer. Please check and fix that issue.

I'm having this same issue. Unable to use installer to update.
Whats really weird is I only recently updated all these items manually, now if I go into the VB it wont' let me delete the old modules and manually install the new ones.

Only change, we recently upgraded Excel.
