A heightmap already exists.
A brush can be used to grow and shrink the terrain at places without buildings or roads.

Roads should follow the terrain shape.
Buildings flattens the terrain

There could be an option in the roadbuild tool to build cuts or embankment. This is useful form for road and especially rail to reduce the length and grade.

Spent the week working on terrain/terrain optimizations. Still some work to do for the auto-leveling of buildings and roads.
Had some fun implementing the "Erosion" tool which creates nice looking mountains in seconds.
