  • Add a position for marketing director on the council? Add responsibilities to an/several existing position(s)?
  • Booth at graduate clubs day
  • Intro event this fall? Some fun minor activities/quizzes etc to get to know UofTcoders

I talked to someone part of UTGSU about being at the clubs fair recently, I'll reach out to see if we can have a booth shortly. Will keep this updated. Also we can revisit the idea of an intro event as Joel listed above @aays?

@linamnt I like the idea! It would be great to start off the upcoming Fall semester with something like this. What kind of activities/quizzes might be suitable though? I'm trying to think of something coding-themed, but coming up a bit short right now.

Spitballing here: I could see something along the lines of a Hacky Hour but themed around, say, telling stories about 'disasters' we've experienced in coding-related work and what we did to overcome them? Alternatively, some sort of trivia event that starts off with introductions and then has people group up based on their favourite programming language?

Yea I like both ideas! Trivia + story time :) I would totally be down to be trivia master

Awesome! I think that's a good format to work with - let's revisit this closer to the Fall semester?
