Idea: Subversion for collective control

This project is exactly what I have been looking for for my plans for a collective.

I want to use this project from Thingiverse as a basis together with a VKB upgrade kit for Gladiator MK2 (for the socket) to combine my TM warthog and left hand Kosmosima grip into a helicopter collective. I have ordered a RP2040 Zero and will make my own 3D design for the adapter.

The small software addition I want to request, is if it would be possible to use the grip twist axis in a trim-like fashion. The axis would control the throttle not directly, but the twist would change the throttle setting progressively when not in neutral. So neutral is the dead zone, where the throttle axis stays stays as it was, a small movement would move the throttle axis slowly, and a large movement would move the throttle axis quickly.
