Hi, Can I ask what model JK BMS you are using? How long are the wires from the JKBMS GPS port to the ESP32? I have not used the RS485 port and don't know if it work at all, eg I suspect the data structure will be different. |

somehow it seems that my ttl (gps) port is not working anymore, there are discussion about not using a stepdown coverter and powering it by the battery.
I have the hardware version that also support rs485 switch on the CAN port, I activated that and it seems that I can read some data, but I'm not good at all with modbus. I've used an usb to rs485 adapter and some app in windows to read the registers
I was thinking that since there is support for ttl to rs485 this could also work with native port but it seems that esp32 doesn't get any data, used the rs485 ttl addapter to connect to esp32 something like this but don't know exactly if the ttl pin layout is the same rx from r485 board to pin17 and tx to pin16, tried different speed for ttl also reverse rx/tx
edit:
seems that the rx/tx don't need to be crossed
