As a developer adopting and configuring the json-proxy-service, I would like to understand what makes it secure, under what circumstances it is secure, and what I need to do properly in the configuration and in the implementation of the backing JSON web service to comport with the security model.

(This came up at 2015-06-17 f2f MyUW portal developers' meeting.)
