Several of us are planning on getting together to take part in the Data Carpentry Bug BBQ on Friday April 7th (2017)?

We will get a room for the afternoon and some food to share, and try to win the swag they're sending to the groups that merge the most PRs.

This issue is for organizing our group:

food: Can we get funding or pool some money to get a late lunch or some snacks?
room: What is a good location? Maybe close to SNRE and EEB buildings? Who knows how to reserve rooms which meet our criteria?
attendance: Who's coming? How big of a room should we get?
advertising: Should we publicize the event beyond [email protected]?
