ASpace has combined the names from the creator content type in Archon with the names from the subject content type. Some names will be in both. Sometimes the migration tool will record an error when this happens, discarding any unique data in the creator record.
For example, from the error log:
Endpoint: http://archivesspace-dev.library.illinois.edu:8079/agents/people
AR Identifier: Creator_Person->Biblo, Herbert
Re-using existing ASpace record: /agents/people/89
(the creator record has a name variant that did not migrate to ASpace https://apache-ns-dev.library.illinois.edu/ihx/test-database/ala/index.php?p=creators/creator&id=4100; see https://archivesspace-dev.library.illinois.edu/agents/people/89)
Endpoint: http://archivesspace-dev.library.illinois.edu:8079/agents/people
AR Identifier: Creator_Person->Carr, D. Edith Wallbridge
Re-using existing ASpace record: /agents/people/120
(the creator record and subject record appear to be identical in this case)
However, apparently sometimes the migration tool will create the agent twice, as in the case of Freedman, Maurice J. (Mitch):
https://staff.archivesspace-dev.library.illinois.edu/agents/agent_person/107/
https://staff.archivesspace-dev.library.illinois.edu/agents/agent_person/246/
The first record (107), I am assuming came from the subject, since it doesn't have any biographical info. The second (246) I am assuming came from the creator record since it does have biographical information.
