Here are the steps (per Ian's instructions). We probably won't need to do this since new rudaux isn't using nfs, but just in case.
On the student machine
Set the sharenfs property of the tank/home filesystem: sudo zfs set sharenfs="rw=@INSTRUCTOR_IP/32,crossmnt,no_root_squash" tank/home
Poke a hole in the firewall sudo firewall-cmd --add-rich-rule "rule family=ipv4 source address=INSTRUCTOR_IP/32 port port=2049 protocol=tcp accept" --permanent
Reload the firewall sudo firewall-cmd --reload
Enable and restart the nfs server systemctl enable nfs-server && systemctl restart nfs-server
On the instructor machine
Make an fstab entry, e.g. STUDENT_URL:/tank/home /tank-student/home nfs defaults 0 0
Create the mount point: mkdir -p /tank-student/home
Mount: mount -a
