Question: does this work with Xbox 360 controllers?

this question is simply to ask if I specifically need a Xbox one controller or if I can use Xbox 360 controllers for this. I don't have a Xbox 1 controller as i don't even own an Xbox 1, I do have a 360 along with a wide selection of 360 controllers that i like to use for whatever I happen to be playing, whether it be on the Xbox itself or on pc.

so am i ok with using Xbox 360 controllers or do I have to go out and Purchase a Xbox one controller for this program to work?

(side note: I'm asking this without testing it so I don't have to waste time on something that might not even work for me. I'd rather have the word of those who know for fact than to bother having to download the program, open it, test it, and tinker with it's settings only to come to the conclusion that my controller itself is the issue, then have to ither delete this program and look for a better one or go out of my way to buy a Xbox one controller.)
