display streaking

Hello.. having streaking problems with the second display I have used.

I had done this project before and installed everything manually and there was no issue, was working for months, then the frame got knocked off a shelf and the ribbon cable to the display tore.

Got a new display and new Raspberry Pi and installed via the script.. initially it worked using the same video files I had used previously. Came back to the frame a few days later, started up slowmovie.py and the first frame it displayed was streaking. Tried various other video files and even the Nees and test image and get the same result.

Any thoughts? Thank you!

This is an issue with the waveshare driver. Flip the "Display Config" switch, or try an older version.

Seems to have done the trick.. so simple! I have another old display I'm going to try it with soon before I close this out.

For the record, which side should the switch be on for no streaking? 1 or 0?
